There’s a new gaming event you may have heard a bit about recently, the London Gaming Con at the Rocket Complex on 3-4 December.
Is it a gaming convention? Is it a games tournament? Is it a big party in London with DJs & special guest performers? Is it a mass celebration of all forms of gaming culture??
We’re pretty sure London Gaming Con will turn out be all of the above, and much more… So we’re excited to announce that Retro GT are the official sponsors of the Retro Zone – and we will of course, have a stand there selling our wares at our usual show-discounted rates.
Brought to you by the organisers of the popular London Anime Con, promising tournaments, panels, games previews, special guests, bands, DJs and parties – the line up for this event is absolutley huge and it looks to be a unique and truly memorable couple of days.
Win tickets to London Gaming Con!
We’ve got two tickets to give away to two lucky winners – all you have to do is follow @RetroGT on Twitter and retweet one of our competition tweets.
Good luck, and we’ll see you there!

In November 1972, a heap of litter appeared in one corner of Andy Capp’s Tavern in Sunnyvale, California. Upon further inspection, however, it turned out to be a black and white television, a coin-op mechanism from a local laundrette, a largish chunk of circuit board, and a milk bottle. When correctly assembled and shoved into a small wardrobe with a hole cut into it, the telly, the circuit board and the coin op mechanism blinked into life and became Pong, the very first arcade game to appear in public, ever. The milk bottle was there to catch the coins.
