Our friends over at Neo Empire have been working hard to promote the UK fighting games scene. They host regular tournaments attended by some of the best fighting games players from around the world.
Super VS Battle is the biggest professional Fighting games tournament in the UK and is open to the all players Worldwide. This is the place where the best come to show their stuff and be crowned Super VS Battle Champion.
Almost all the information needed to participate in this event is available on the Super VS Battle website. Most of the games have already been announced for SVB 2008, but there are still more to come.

Our fighting friends over at Neo Empire are hosting another Fighter’s Day event. It’s an event dedicated to fans of fighting games with tournaments and casual matches for people to enjoy. It is going to be held at the same plush venue with alcohol and hot food available. This time they have added even more games and extended the event to 11 hours.
Frogster Interactive have decided to modernise not one, but two titles from the 16-bit era. The German publisher recently announced that it has signed a deal with The Bitmap Brothers to remake ‘Speedball 2’ and ‘Chaos Engine’. The titles are scheduled for worldwide release in 2007 and judging by the publisher’s back catalogue the target platform is most likely to be the PC.
The guys at Neo Empire have thrown down the gauntlet and invite fighting game fans to join the fray at their “Fighter’s Day” event. It is a 10 hour gaming session of tournaments and casual matches with games ranging from Street Fighter to Tekken 5. You will have the chance to win cash prizes and if you’re lucky, some Retro GT t-shirts… so brush up on your skills and head on down. The Venue serves alcohol so losers can drown their sorrows or join in the merriment with other players. Fighter’s Day is held on Sunday 10th September in North London.
