By day, I'm a University administrator. Around that, I'm a writer, a proofreader and editor, a wordnerd, a petrolhead and a retro-geek, in approximately that order. I enjoy writing articles and reviews, editing and proofing all kinds of written work, reading (biographies, science fiction, travel books and fiction), playing Fishdom, Bejeweled and Solitaire/Klondike (casual games, as my colleague calls them) as well as watching Formula 1 and BTCC. I have been known to overrun the Twitter feed at digital arts parties, when not writing feverishly to pour out all the endless ideas such places give me.
