About this design

Super Mario Brothers 3 must have been one of the most hyped and widely anticipated games of all time. The Nintendo marketing machine redefined product placement releasing footage of the game ahead of the US sale date, in the movie 'The Wizard' with Fred Savage, which wasn't bad as it goes, and a darn sight better than the official Mario Brothers movie as I'm sure we can all agree.

One of the greatest features of the new Mario 3 game was Mario's ability to fly through the air, reaching secret hidden areas, soaring above enemies and generally being awesome. Of course, he needed to wear a raccoon suit to do that. Not sure what the connection is there, but we loved it all the same and the Raccoon suit became a gaming icon for all time.

This design is inspired by the flight-giving Raccoon suit, because it's so ridiculous that it's actually awesome.
