About this design

Back in the heady days of 16-bit awesomeness, Sega launched a modest little game featuring a bright blue hedgehog that could inexplicably run extremely fast. Sonic, as he was named, spent his time collecting rings and doing battle with a moustachioed evil genius who wanted to turn all the cute little animals in the land into, well, cute little robot animals.

With bright funky graphics, extremely fast processing and quite frankly some of the best in-game music ever created, Sonic soon became a massive franchise and took his place as Sega's mascot to rival Nintendo's Mario.

As time would tell, Mario won the mascot wars with Sega now developing rather poor Sonic games for Nintendo systems, but the quality gameplay of the original Sonic games can't be denied.

So here's our little tribute to the Sonic of old. This rather special design depicts some of the well known Sonic power ups, contained in their TV sets.
